  • At Compass Rose Counseling, we believe everyone can benefit from counseling services! Counseling is a place to manage and reduce mental health symptoms, find ways to resolve conflicts or other issues in your life, and a place to explore your inner world to support your growth as a human. If you are still unsure, you may find these screeners to be useful to get some feedback on your mental health symptoms:

  • If you are interested in working together, please contact us with:

    • Your first and last name (as it appears on your insurance card)

    • Your e-mail address (this is where consent forms will be sent)

    • How you heard about Compass Rose Counseling (Psychology Today, clinician referral, etc.)

  • Consider using this free Therapy Journal download to help you organize your thoughts before and reflect after each session.

    For in-person sessions:

    • Arrive on time so that we may use the session time to its fullest

    • Consider bringing a comforting beverage or snack - we’ll be talking so you might get thirsty!

    • Bring fidget items if you need them or a notebook to write notes

    • Do not feel the need to knock. The door from the hall will lead you into the waiting room

    For virtual sessions:

    • Have a strong and reliable internet connection

    • Be in a private space (no public places or rooms where others can clearly hear what you’re saying)

      • If in a car, you must be parked

    • Consider bringing a comforting beverage or snack

    • Bring fidget items if you need them or a notebook to write notes
